The Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy Creative Writing Club was formed by Heather Solsvik in 2009 "to give students a creative outlet amidst all the academic work they do."
This student led club meets every Thursday, housing short lessons on writing, word exercises and literary games.
In 2011, the club was able to organize Letterpoint, a literary magazine containing works from club members and other school students.
This blog was created so that current student writings, ranging from poetry to fiction, could be available for public viewing.
